Scope of Services: Construction of UC Improv 1 consists of the installation of approximately 1,858 linear feet (0.35 miles) of new 8-inch PVC water main, approximately 8,313 linear feet (1.58 miles) of new 16-inch PVC water main, approximately 8,897 linear feet (1.68 miles) of new 8-inch PVC sewer main, and abandonment of approximately 4,350 linear feet (0.80 miles) of existing 8-inch VC sewer and rehabilitation (0.03 miles) of existing 8-inch VC sewer. Related work includes associated water services, fire hydrants. sewer laterals, sewer replumb, manholes, curb ramps, street resurfacing, traffic control, and all other work and
appurtenances in accordance with these specifications and drawings.

Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith Company’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
