Service-Disabled Veteran Business Webinar

SBA service-disabled veteran webinar

Service-Disabled Veteran Business Webinar

The SBA OC/IE district office is offering a veteran webinar series that’s part of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s efforts and Boots to Business program. The webinars are hosted by the SBA Orange County & Inland Empire District Office. Get inspired by and learn from veterans and experts as you explore moving from the military to “the boss life.” Join us for an upcoming free webinar and discover the SBA resources available to become a veteran business owner. Get busy building your empire!

Did you know the U.S. government is the world’s largest purchaser of goods and services, and, by law, 3% or more of the value of its contracts and subcontracts must involve small businesses owned by service-disabled veterans. The purpose of this webinar is to assist service-disabled veterans who own businesses in learning and evaluating if their companies have what it takes to win a government contract, and then go for it.

During the webinar, two veteran business owners will share their experiences going through the government contracting process. You’ll also hear from guest experts Mike Sabellico, senior procurement advisor from PTAC San Diego, Orange, Imperial; and Gloria Gomez, lead business opportunity specialist/8(a) business development from SBA OCIEDO.

You served your country, and the SBA is ready to serve you. See how the SBA and its partners can be your ally. For any questions, contact Africa Rosas at Africa.Rosas@sba.gov or 714-550-7420.
