The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard used by Federal statistical agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing, and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy. Visit this website and search for the NAICS codes that are applicable to your business’s products and services.

Product Service Codes (PSC) & Federal Supply Codes (FSC) are numerical codes designed by the government to create descriptions for products and services. A-Z are for services and 10-99 are for products.

To do business with the federal government, you must first register on the System for Award Management (SAM). This registration provides government agencies with a profile of your company, your firm’s representations, and certifications. Upon completion of this registration, you’re also provided a link to register on the SBA’s Supplemental Pages/Dynamic Small Business Search database. Only small businesses are allowed to register in the Small Business Dynamic Search database. Registration in the database can only be accessed when you’re logged into your SAM account.

eProcurement is the State of California’s vendor registration, solicitation, and certification portal. If you’re interested in obtaining a certification or becoming a vendor, with the State of California, complete this registration. Registration with BidSync is free. After completing your registration, you’ll be notified via email when your registration is activated; then you can log in to eProcurement and complete the online Small Business certification application located within the eProcurement system.
