In order to do business with the federal government, you must obtain a DUNS number. Please note that 50% of companies requesting a DUNS number discover that they already have one. In order to do business with the Federal government you must first register on the System for Award Management (SAM). This registration provides government agencies with a profile of your company, your firm’s representations and certifications. Upon completion of this registration you are also provided a link to register on the SBA’s Supplemental Pages/Dynamic Small Business Search database. Only small businesses are allowed to register in the Small Business Dynamic Search database. Registration in the Dynamic Small Business Search database can only be accessed when you are logged into your SAM account.
eProcurement is the State of California’s vendor registration, solicitation, and certification portal. If you are interested in obtaining a certification or becoming a vendor, with the State of California, complete this registration. Registration with BidSync is free. After completing your registration, you will be notified via email when your registration is activated, then you can log in to eProcurement and complete the online Small Business certification application located within the eProcurement system.
