La Jolla Logic is an advanced technology and information system security solution firm headquartered in San Diego, California. The company is an 8(a) SBA Certified Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business.
La Jolla Logic is composed of highly experienced professionals with expertise in DoD Grade Cybersecurity Services, Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) Subject Matter Expertise, Strategic DoD Business Development and DoD ‘Business Navigation’ Services, Secure Enterprise Architectures, Risk Assessment and Management, Advanced Technology Assessment, and Programmatic and Organizational Leadership Support. The company currently specializes in developing, deploying and accrediting new cybersecurity and information technology capabilities for fielding in operational US Navy environments.
Having already found success in the government market, La Jolla Logic was looking to increase their competitive advantage by obtaining the 8(a) certification. The company’s existing customers encouraged the firm to seek the certification as a means of expanding their capabilities portfolio and partnering on new teaming opportunities. La Jolla Logic received their 8(a) certification in January 2017 and as a result, the company is now enjoying the benefits of this sought after certification.
Since becoming certified, La Jolla Logic has been successful in obtaining additional subcontracts totaling over $1.1M from large defense corporations like SAIC and Booz Allen Hamilton. The company continues to provide cybersecurity and advanced information technology services to support Naval operational environments.
La Jolla Logic first began working with SDCOC in November 2016, requesting assistance with their 8(a) certification package. The firm successfully received the 8(a) certification in January 2017. The company is now working with SDCOC on a GSA schedule 70 proposal to increase visibility and expand their customer base to civilian agency activities and grow the business.
Karina Arushanyan, Director of Business Development for La Jolla Logic, shared that the “professionals at SDCOC have been instrumental in helping us better understand the requirements and the necessary documentation to construct our application for the 8(a) certification, as well as the GSA Schedule 70 proposal, neither of which are an easy feat for a Small Business to tackle. Trisha Ferrand was the primary Procurement Specialist we worked with and her experience, knowledge, and helpful demeanor was immensely valuable to our application and proposal development for both efforts”.
