Stormwater Channel Improvement Project
OHL USA, Inc. is bidding as a Prime Contractor on the following Coachella Valley Water District (CVWD) Project – Stormwater Channel Improvement Project – Avenue 54 to the Thermal Drop Structure, Specification No. 2018-60. Project funded in whole or in part by the following – Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF) is capitalized through a variety of funding sources, including grants from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), state bond proceeds, Proposition 68, Clean Water State Revolving Fund through an agreement with the State Water Resources Control Board and Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation (WIIN) Act through an agreement with the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation.
We are seeking sub-bids from certified DBE/MBE/WBE/SBE/SRBA/LASF/HUB Zone Subcontractors/Suppliers/Trucking for all areas of work, including but not limited to those listed: Aggregate Base, Clear and Grub, Demolition, Dewatering, Equipment Rental, Fencing (Pipe Gate), Geotextiles (Non-Woven), Pipe Supply, QA/QC, Ready Mix, Reinforced Concrete Pipe (Slope Protection / Channel Lining), Reinforcing Steel, Rip-Rap, Saw Cutting, Shoring, Storm Water Protection Plan, Traffic Control System, Trucking – End Dumps/Super 10.

Compliance to CVWD Special Provisions/Standards, requirements associated with funding sources, including but not limited to USEPA DBE Compliance and American Iron and Steel (including Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Requirements). OHL is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Cement Masons and Carpenters Unions, non-signatory subcontractors may be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under OHL’s union agreements. 100% bonding may be required for all subcontractors. Flexible time frames for performance, delivery and breaking out portions of work into economically feasible packages to encourage participation may be discussed.
