Project Description: TENANT IMPROVEMENT OF EXISTING 3-STORY CLINIC BUILDING. ADDITION OF NEW EXAM ROOMS, VITAL AREA ROOM, NEW WORK AREA ROOMS, NEW WALLS, RE-SIZED RESTROOMS, DRINKING FOUNTAIN RELOCATION, NEW ACCESSIBILITY AREAS, AND NEW PSR STATION.

This Project is being funded by Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the City of San Diego’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The entire project is subject to State prevailing wage laws, pursuant to San Diego Municipal Code section 22.3019 and sections 1720 through 1861 and 3070-3098 of the California Labor Code, California Public Contract Code sections 4100 through 4114, and all other City and State requirements that apply. The project is subject to City of San Diego EOCP requirements. This project is also subject to Davis-Bacon Federal prevailing wages, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act [12 U.S.C. 1701u and CFR Part 135], and all other Federal requirements that apply.

Harper Construction Company, Inc. is requesting quotes/bids from qualified SB/SDB/WOSB/VOSB/SDVOSB subcontractors and suppliers for all trades for 1St Marine Division Operations Complex (P-1130) at Margarita 333 Area, MCB, Camp Pendleton, California. The work to be performed provides for the design and construction of multiple buildings with concrete masonry unit walls, reinforced concrete foundations and floors and standing seam metal roofs; the construction of a parade field; and the demolition of nine single story concrete buildings, nine temporary facilities and four multi-story wood buildings. Work will be performed in Camp Pendleton, California and is expected to be completed by May 2023. The Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command, Southwest, San Diego, California, is the contracting activity. Plans and specs are available upon request to interested firms. This project is currently in the design phase.
