Local Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Wins Big with Set-Aside Contract

INDUS Technology, Inc. (INDUS), a Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in San Diego, CA, recently won a $43.5 million task order with the Navy. INDUS has provided Government services for nineteen years, is stable and growing firm with an excellent reputation as both a prime and subcontractor, INDUS provides services in C4I Communication Systems, Engineering, Program Management, Logistics, Information Technology, Information Assurance, Acquisition and Financial Management support.

INDUS’ hard work and dedication to supporting their customer’s mission critical projects have also been recognized and are evident with this most recent SDVOSB $43.5 million task order award under the NAVSEA Seaport-e contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Port Hueneme Division (PHD). The scope of this task order provides Engineering, Logistics, Policy, and Administrative support services to the Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department. INDUS leadership and personnel have developed strong business relationships and built their team to include all small businesses with reputations for solid performance at NSWC PHD, including prior incumbent, Engineering Services Network (ESN).
The San Diego Contracting Opportunities Center (SDCOC) first began working with INDUS staff in 2003 and has assisted INDUS with one-on-one counseling and training on a variety of government contracting topics including registrations, ISO- 9001 certification, cost and pricing strategies, subcontracting agreements, Government market research, marketing tactics, and the Center for Veteran Enterprises (CVE) SDVOSB verification. With a mission to assist small businesses with winning and successfully performing on government contracts, SDCOC looks forward to its continued support of INDUS’ government contracting activities and development.
INDUS’s accomplishment is uniquely special to the SDCOC. As a result of INDUS’ recent task order award, SDCOC has surpassed the $1 billion milestone in supporting small businesses to win Government contracts.
