At a time when most small businesses are being challenged, this dynamic team who believes hard work and project dedication is the key to success had to step it up. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Instent stepped up to the plate and became a top supplier of Emergency Tents, Medical Unit Tents, and Testing Tents. Also helping other businesses stay open by providing curbside pickup solutions to continue with implemented safety protocols for pickup zones. Since 1997, VAE Industries, a family owned business, has been a reliable manufacturer of tents, shelters, and displays systems in southern California.
In August 2020, they were awarded a contract found through San Diego, Imperial, Orange PTAC for the Army JROTC division to fulfill a special project with a limited time frame and difficult shipment requirements extending to 96 different locations throughout the world. Being able to complete a 632 order of printed table covers for Army recruitment, this order was quickly produced within the required fast production two-week time frame. Instent’s goal is to provide our nation with any necessary needs at the highest quality in the industry.
Damien Vieille, CEO of Instent, said, “Our experience with socalPTAC has been nothing short of wonderful. We currently have over three third party services that aggregate open solicitations and RFQs that range from $2,000 to $6,000.00 a year. I can honestly say that PTAC has been our sole provider for all our awarded bids. It keeps us updated every day with personalized alerts that are extremely helpful and time efficient for our business. Keeping in contact with our advisor has been easy and extremely helpful, as it provides a feeling of support that all other services, we currently pay for do not offer. PTAC has been a main reason for our success in a very unfortunate year for small businesses.”
Damien also mentioned they took advantage of attending PTAC’s “CREATING A CAPABILITIES STATEMENT TO SELL TO THE GOVERNMENT” webinar in June 2020 and learned in a matter of hours how to effectively create a capabilities statement and why you should have a capabilities statement.
Instent’s recent awards include a one-year contract worth $250,000 with the San Diego County, to provide custom printed commercial grade aluminum pop up frame tents in various sizes. Also, a $42,944.40 award with the US ARMY JROTC for custom printed table covers shipping to JROTC locations ranging from California to Japan.
